Este año celebramos el Día de Halloween

In English-speaking countries, 31st October is the day children anxiously look forward to, with their costumes ready for their door-to-door trick-or-treating.
This academic year, we have celebrated Halloween Day at school, we played Trick or Treat and we were told spooky stories.
Our experiences were the following:
We learnt vocabulary and information about customs and traditions on Halloween. Our teacher and our tutors were helping to create scary masks and spider bracelets in the Art class.
On Thursday and Friday, we dressed up as vampires, skeletons, monsters, werewolves, Frankenstein. We went to the library and we watched a film about Halloween.
Once we finished watching the film, a witch visited us and we enjoyed listening to a story about Winnie the witch. Then, we sang two songs:
‘knock, knock, trick or treat, who are you?’ and ‘The school is full of monster’
Finally, the witch shared out sweets and chocolates for all children.
We have selected some interesting websites or links full of ideas for drawing, colouring and making Halloween-related handicrafts. These activities are also useful to learn vocabulary, listen to stories and songs and follow instructions (draw, colour, paint..) in English.
